She has gained experience in field plant pathology area and worked as a leading researcher in several projects on fungal diseases in winter wheat, field beans, potatoes, legumes and vegetables. She is the author or co-author of 28 peer-reviewed publications indexed in SCOPUS, with an h-index of 8. One doctoral thesis have been defended under her supervision.
