His expertise lies in clinical diagnostics and internal medicine, cardiology including echocardiography and interventional cardiology, clinical research. In addition, the professor has also conducted morphological studies of the gastrointestinal tract of birds, in collaboration with the Estonian University of Life Sciences and University of Tartu. He is author of 19 of scientific articles in the field of veterinary medicine indexed in Scopus data base.
