She currently holds the position of research assistant at the Institute of Animal Sciences and is also a salaried employee at the Latvian Fund for Nature. Since completing her master's degree, she has pursued a research career alongside her professional activities, participating in various scientific projects. Both her professional work and research focus on beef cattle breeding, carcass characteristics, and beef quality. She is the author or co-author of five peer-reviewed publications indexed in SCOPUS and/or Web of Science.
