Determination of the effectiveness of the microbiological preparations Biomix and Nitragin in field bean, pea, buckwheat, red clover and alfalfa Project leader Agrita Švarta Team of project Agrita Švarta Duration 2020 - 2020 Research focus 3.Studies of the basic resources of the bioeconomy – land, soil, water – to ensure sustainable use and reduce pollution Source of funding Collaboration research Description of project The aim of research To test the effectivity of the microbiological preparations Biomix and Nitragin on the yield of field bean, pea, buckwheat, red clover and alfalfa. The tasks of project: Determination of productivity of legumes: field beans, pea, buckwheat, red clover and alfalfa depending on use of different microbiological preparations Results The obtained results show that seed treatment with Nitragin before sowing provided a significant increase in the yield of field beans and pea. Field beans developed a richer root system. The use of Biomix significantly increased the yield of buckwheat nuts only in one year of trial. No buckwheat diseases were detected in the field trial. For both red clover and alfalfa, no significant yield differences were obtained in the sowing year. In turn, in the sowings of the 1st year of use, significantly higher yields were obtained in the variant where treated with gum bacteria.
