The tasks of project: Determination of productivity of varieties: timothy ‘Žolis, ryegrass ‘Elena’, fescue ‘Lina’, red clover ‘Arimaičiai’, white clover ‘Sūduviai’ and six mixture made from those cultivarsDetermination of biomass quality (protein content) Results All tested varieties bred in Lithuania. The results of research confirm that all tested varieties and mixtures from those varieties were suitable for cultivation in Latvian agroclimatical conditions. Varieties have good winter hardiness; it is possible to get three cuttings with high content of protein.
