During studies at the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies, developed a Bachelor’s thesis on the phenology of broadbean seed beetle imagines in faba bean fields and susceptibility of various faba bean varieties against this pest. Since 2023, has been working in the field crop pathology group at the Latvian Plant Protection Research centre and continuing research activities in Institute of Plant Protection Research “Agrihorts”. Currently actively involved in research related to broad bean seed beetle (Bruchus rufimanus) and wild bee species sampling.
