Since 2018, he has been serving as the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and, since 2019, as a Professor at the same institution. His research expertise spans antimicrobial resistance, infectious diseases in livestock, and food safety. He has led multiple national and international research projects, including Horizon 2020 initiatives, focusing on microbial resistance and sustainable livestock production. His recent studies explore zoonotic pathogens and antibiotic resistance in food-producing animals. He has authored or co-authored 19 peer-reviewed publications indexed in SCOPUS, with an h-index of 9. Under his supervision, four doctoral theses are in development.
