Zane Lībiete has obtained doctoral degree in forest science at Latvia University of Agriculture (2008) and master’s degree in social and cultural anthropology at University of Latvia (2021). Since 2008 she has been involved in the management of national and international level research projects. Her research focuses on the complex interactions between forest management and environment, and recently, also on the societal perception of forest and nature values. She is author or co-author of 41 peer-reviewed papers indexed in SCOPUS (h-index 7). She is currently supervising five doctoral theses. The most important publications (2019-2025) Z.
