The tasks of project: To set up three demonstration plots.Evaluate the effectiveness of the harmful organisms control methods applied.To keep records of the labour input for monitoring harmful organisms and for applying control methods, in order to assess the economic performance of the methods. Results In two integrated apple orchards in different regions of Latvia from 2023-2024 demonstration trials for controlling harmful organisms with alternative substances were carried out, and will be continued in 2025, summarising the results at the end of the three years trial period.
