The tasks of project: To set up two demonstration plotsEvaluate the effectiveness of the harmful organisms control methods appliedTo keep records of the labour input for monitoring harmful organisms and applying control methods in order to assess the economic performance of the methods Results In two organic apple orchards in different regions of Latvia from 2023-2024 demonstration trials for controlling harmful organisms with various substances allowed in organic farming were carried out, and will be continued in 2025, summarising the results at the end of the three years trial period.
