His latest research focuses on Pyrenophora tritici-repentis, the causal agent of wheat tan spot. Possesses extensive expertise in assessing cereal and legume diseases under field conditions, along with strong skills in microbiology and fundamental molecular biology workflows. He is author and co-author of 19 Scopus-indexed publications, with an h-index of 6.
